Settling

Hello, readers.

I haven’t wrote a long blog for a while, been a bit busy to post one this week. Again, my late night thoughts seem to be my creative vocal point for writing things. I like thinking about past memories and experiences, I sometimes look back on it to motivate myself daily. We’ve all made mistakes and I definitely have made plenty, see, I’m human too. I got thinking about times where I had to move somewhere, sometimes on my own and how I managed to settle in those situations. I imagine there are a few people who agree that moving is always difficult, some people a few years down the line are still trying too. My first move away from home was a big one, and very quick. The way I planned it was very sudden, I had basically made the choice over night and booked the first train out the next morning whilst trying to pack all the stuff I had. I had three large bags to carry, one was a wheeling suitcase (which broke en route) a travelers rucksack about the size of a golfers bag, and a small bag on one hand. It had felt like a tonne throughout the journey, but I was determined to prove to myself that I could make big decisions on my own and make it work. This was my own personal goal, considering I had made a decision to move to a city 7 hours away around midnight with no real time to pack and go, I pulled it off eventually. The only real issue I had was that my arms and my back were killing by the time I had got to the estate agents in Leeds, at least another bus journey from the train station. I arrived around 1pm in the afternoon, a lovely day in West Yorkshire but the sunshine was my enemy at this point of time, especially carrying all my stuff in jeans and a jumper. By the time I had reached the estate agents, I wanted to give up because it was already approaching closing time there and I still had to register with the local council along with my application. With a helping hand from the estate agents, they actually managed to get it sorted swiftly and even let me have the house keys a day earlier because I had no where else to go, I couldn’t wait around til tomorrow to collect. At this point I would have slept on the pavement, I was tired, hungry and achy from the traveling.

Waking up on the first day of my new move was a great moment, a successful move, the weather was great again, I finally had a sleep too. It took me a couple of weeks to really settle in, know my surroundings and the people I lived with. Everything was looking up at this point, but down the road were some bumps which unfortunately lead me to moving again. Leeds reminded me of Devon a lot, too many bloody hills that were ridiculously too steep. It was a huge pain carrying even more stuff that I had collected over the months, to move it into a new house. The new house had some maintenance problems but it was a good house, cool flatmates and my room was great and perfectly situated and close to shops, bus routes and pubs! Probably the best experience of living in Leeds was in this house, I met some cool people from nights out, the housemates were all nice as well. I officially settled there, and it felt great to finally settle somewhere after so much moving, work was good, I got to see a lot of Argyle games as well especially away from home. Unfortunately due to personal reasons, I had to move back to Plymouth for a few months to sort things out. I realized things about certain people, managed the problems and headed back to Leeds just after Christmas, only two streets down from where I was before, 6 months earlier. The last place I had was great, in fact for three months I was living in a shared house with only myself, eventually someone moved in but it was always a quiet house, the people eventually started coming in and it become more busier but the three months I had it to myself were times I will always remember. I had really landed on my feet in Leeds by this point, I had what some people may remark as a perfectly consistent life. I was visiting home now and again for a treat, life was definitely consistent. I really liked the area I was in, although most of the places I lived in were ‘student’ areas, not to say it wasn’t interesting though. I quite enjoyed the random parties you get invited too, meeting new people, ending up with bus stop signs and traffic cones that you apparently brought home (?). It was a fun time for me, unfortunately all good things must come to an end.. I had a mental breakdown and I fell like Jenga.

Although my time in Leeds had come to a dramatic end, I will always savor the memories I had.. Until I make them again. I never gave up the dream of living independently on my own, somewhere new and far from home. The only reason I had to come home was because I mentally broke down and that reason only. Although I love Plymouth and will always consider it home wherever life takes me, I just needed to prove to myself that I could rely on myself financially and independently. I did just that but I want to do that over a period of 5-10 years with no bumps in between, of course life always springs things upon you that you can’t deal with, it’s a real pain. For now, I’m happy where I am and I think I need to be close to home and family for now. I don’t want to test myself again just yet, I wouldn’t say life is perfect because currently it is not. I’m still recovering but the progress is good although having a few meltdowns over the recent months with depression, anxiety and insomnia. I’ll get back on my feet!

What shows above is a human being trying to cope with new surroundings, it’s not easy. I’m thankful for the people who made it a lot easier, unfortunately my life has thrown me curve balls pretty consistently and a few of those have hit me and knocked me down. It happens, it’s part of being an adult. These things make you or break you, it depends on only you if you want it to make you or break you. I learned it the hard way but I will probably find myself in these situations again in the future, but with the experience of it I find it a lot easier to settle into my surroundings. My journey to happiness currently stalls but I haven’t given up the chance to live in Yorkshire again, it’s a lovely place and I feel I have an unwritten story there and I need to complete it.

If there’s anyone that is or has gone through similar situations as I have, give this a comment with how it turned you around, or perhaps questions to help you through it. It’s an emotional roller-coaster, but you’ll get there.

Travel Itch

Good Evening WordPress-ers.

For those who understand travel, there is always an urge that one will get when wanting to travel again, a lot of people call it the “travel bug”. Late last year I went on a little travelling myself, crossing various countries and cities in the process. It opened my eyes up in terms of seeing other people from different countries, live. It was an exciting trip! I thoroughly enjoyed the journey, which was by coach. I’ll give a little review of the coach company that I used, later on. There are people who will criticize others for wanting to travel, because it’s “stupid” and “a waste of money” those people tend to be ones who will never venture out of their comfort zone for whatever reason. A lot of people have barely left their own town or city, if that’s what they want then I respect that. I have been well travelled since being a kid so I was always on the move, I’ve now lived in different places but not really settled anywhere, although Aylesbury is my hometown, I consider Plymouth ‘Home’. I feel part of it, the city, the people etc, I have most of my friends and experiences here.

I’ve always believed in travel, to see new things, to meet new people, to take a different perspective on life. There are people who are small minded, they think that going abroad is boring and you won’t find a better life out there. Millions of Brits have moved over to Europe, Asia, America, South America and so on and have found a new lease of life in these places. Good on them! I don’t feel like I belong anywhere, but I know where home is if I need it. I learnt a lot of things from other people who I’ve met on the road and have inspired me to motivate my own life and change it. You’ll be surprised how you feel when you arrive in a different culture, it makes you feel guilty in some ways because there are people around the world who aren’t as lucky to have the technology we have nowadays. It makes me feel lucky that I have such things as heating, internet, a bed to sleep, a phone, a laptop, a camera etc, there are people who struggle for heat and a bed every night so I take those things for granted.

Everyone has a favorite place, whether it’s where you live, maybe somewhere you visited as a kid or even a holiday destination. My “go-to” place is Germany, having been interested in Germany since I was at school, studying history and learning about the Wars in which Germany had fought in, how much was destroyed and how it had to rebuild. Much like other countries, I find it interesting how other countries have rebuilt themselves. I’m a massive fan of architecture and will travel anywhere to see some great structures, I found a lot of great works of art and structures in Germany when I have visited. It’s one of the things that always bring me back there, along with all the beer and bratwurst of course! It’s lovely place, a different culture which is still enjoyed by millions of other people from all over the world. I like the uniqueness of the country, whether it’s architecture, food, culture or sport, and the people individually. I always feel safe there and enjoy myself a lot, having gained a lot of German friends, it just makes me more excited every time I visit.

It has been a few months since I have travelled, far too long in my own mind although I am truly grateful for the times I have been able too. Which is why I get the “itch” to do it all over again, but perhaps longer this time. I learnt that you don’t need money to enjoy yourself, with the experience I have of being in other countries, enjoying things that are free, it just makes me want to do it again. It is not always cheap to travel, but if you are smart enough to understand that booking a flight or coach a week in advance is extremely costly then you should have no problem in making a trip of a lifetime, which brings me to how I managed it…

FLIXBUS

flixbus

When I use companies to book my tickets to go into Europe, I always use Flixbus. A German run budget coach company, the prices are fair and the service is extremely good – what you’d expect from a well run efficient country.

The service I receive every time I use Flixbus is worth the reviews I give when used. If you’re not a coach trip person then I don’t recommend using them, of course. On board the modern fleet of coaches are free Wi-Fi (Hell yeah!) Plug sockets on every coach, snacks and drinks which can be purchased via the driver’s co partner on board. There are normally two people onboard the coach, if you ever wonder. On some of the fleet you will see small TV screens in which films may be on, if long distance. What you also get is leg room, for myself this is excellent news because I’m 6ft 4 and I need the room for my long legs. Some of the fleet are double decker coaches, comfortable seats as well. You will also get table seats on the lower deck of some coaches, not on all coaches but some. Not only will you get great customer service onboard the coach, but also off it via their website and apps, customer service phone lines etc. BONUS – They have their own playlist on Spotify which is a nice touch, again used by their free and powerful internet service. A nice touch I think, sometimes we all get a bit bored with our own stuff especially if repeated. Flixbus is growing day by day, not only does the company employ thousands of people across Europe, in office or out, but it has also acquired Megabus Europe’s routes from them. A huge feat for a company that has only been running since the year 2013, go Flixbus! I 100% recommend using them, especially travelling in Germany, in which you’ll pay between 2-18 Euros for some return trips, some singles dependent on distance.

As for me, I will need to lay some foundations for a travel plan. As a keen photographer, I hope to explore a lot of the world this year, hopefully within the next few months.

Testicular Cancer

Good Evening internet.

Today I’d like to talk about Cancer, not a word everyone likes to hear. Cancer is one of the world’s biggest killers, it has taken away millions of people and continues to do so. People speak about celebrities having been taken by Cancer and I think it’s unfair to put them in a higher capacity just because they’re celebrities. Every human life is worth the same as any other person, regardless of what they have done in life, someone is important to someone all around the world. In particular I’d like to talk about Testicular Cancer, being a chap myself, it’s always worth getting checked out now and again. I tend to get checked once a month with a Doctor, whether it’s a local Doctor or Nurse, I’ll get checked nevertheless. In the last 5 years, I have had a few scares. Two or so years ago I found one testical to feel quite odd compared to the other, so I went to a Doctor to get a checkup, with an all manner of things running through my mind I received good news. I had something called a Cyst, a cyst is a fluid-filled sac which grows at the top end of the testicle. It is benign (ie not caused by cancer). Some men get only one; others get several on both testicles. Rarely, they can be associated with illnesses that cause cysts in other parts of the body. Unfortunately the process was extremely painful, having a needle threaded through to let the fluid out. It was not nice, but I was glad to have seen a Doctor about it.

Making people aware is always important and necessary. It is OK to feel paranoid about it, that’s why we get things like these checked out now and again, as it is a very common type of Cancer amongst men. I urge chaps to get a checkup even if they feel a slight change in size of either testical, any sharp but short pains in the testicular region, a shortness of breath or any symptoms provided on the NHS website.. Here’s the link  – Do not hold back if you feel a peculiar change in your testicles. I understand it can be difficult to get appointments in your local Doctors, perhaps a friend or a family member could help but I would recommend a professional as first choice.

PC

I myself will be going for a checkup on the 13th of April because again, I have found peculiar differences in my testicular region. I have also experienced in the last 3 weeks at least 6 sharp but 2 second streaks of pain in that region, again it could be because I have recently had a change of medication. I can’t make a judgement because I’m not a Doctor or Nurse, so I will be having that check up as a concern, if anyone reads this and is wondering about the same pains they have in their own testicles, I urge you to make an appointment with your Doctor as well. Every human gets worried when the word Cancer is thrown around, not everyone will have cancer. It is possible to get it at any time, regardless of how healthy you eat or keep yourself. I have known people as fit as a fiddle to get Cancer, it can happen to anyone at any time regardless of gender or health status.

PC2

1 in 8 is quite a substantial figure. Don’t let yourself be a statistic, unfortunately some people will be but a lot of those people have beaten it because they checked themselves regularly. Always be aware. There is plenty of support for people who want to know more about it, there is a lot of support for people who are unfortunately going through it themselves. To find more information about Prostate Cancer here’s another link to Prostate Cancer UK where you can find more information about it, symptoms, the research being made and more facts about Prostate Cancer and how to make yourself more aware.

As for my own appointment for a testicular checkup, I’m not going to worry myself by thinking the worst. I have had two scares myself and it has prompt me to be more aware about it as it is extremely common amongst men. I would really appreciate if people could share this blog as far as they can, even if it’s on Facebook or any other social media platform. The more people are aware, the better. I imagine there are a lot of chaps who are unaware.

Again, would really appreciate the share.. I will report back to this post on the 13th of April of what my news is.

Goals

Good evening everyone.

Today I’d like to talk to you about settings and achieving goals. We all have them, including myself. It’s always good to have some ambition, even a little bit is fine. Different people have different dreams, ambitions and goals. Every day is a challenge, for me it is definitely. I have a long term goal of becoming a professional photographer, to travel the world and get paid for it. I recently spoke about one of my other goals, completing the 92 football league grounds in the UK. Again, it’s a goal but everyone’s goal. I am aiming to achieve that within the next two years if I can, it’s ever so sweet when you reach a goal, not only do you feel better for it but you also prove to yourself that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. There are people around the world who are disabled and have climbed the highest mountains, reached the highest peaks of the world and I admire that because it proves that nothing can stop them from achieving something, even if society says you can’t. I love that!

A few years ago I was probably in a different lifestyle, I used to go out on weekends drinking a lot. Hey, it was fun, I’m not denying that but it slowly started to bother me. Not only was it ruining my insides but also financially it drowned me, I needed to stop and change my lifestyle for the better. Nowadays, I’ll have a couple of drinks every other week for the enjoyment whilst I watch a film at home or I’ll be at the football. It’s OK to do it now and again, but I definitely feel better for the change I made. You might lose some people on the way, but if there is something you really want to change you should totally go ahead with it. From a mental health side it’s also good, I always felt alcohol stopped me from feeling so anxious when I went out, socialising with people is extremely hard for me regardless of gender. Anxiety is a horrible thing and it can really get on top of you, so drinking on the weekend kind of removed that feeling briefly but I still felt worse doing so.

Having goals is healthy, it’s the start of a new you. I may have ended up in a state in terms of other things, I’m just glad I wasn’t conflicting mental health and alcohol otherwise I would be in a lot worse state of mind. For that I’m thankful to myself for changing when I did, like I say, you will lose people on the way. It is amazing to see people doing the same thing years ago, still doing it now. Knowing you changed for the better is another extremely good feeling. What I want you to do today is set a small goal every day, it can be a walk to the park, to watch a game of sport or cook a nice healthy meal, whatever you choose, let me know if you did and if you felt better for it.

Thanks for reading today!

– Are you scared of aging?

Hello again, world.

After watching a film this evening, it inspired me for another blog idea and quite an interesting question. Are you scared of getting old? My personal opinion is that I don’t tend to worry too much about the future, I take every day as it comes and if a problem comes every day, I find a way to deal with it. That’s pretty much how I’ve taken life so far, but of course, not everyone deals with things the same way as I would do myself. The way I see it, you could be the world’s healthiest person, you keep fit, you eat well and you could still have a heart attack. Of course there are people who weigh about 30 stone and eat their way to a heart attack, but if that’s what they want, so be it. It’s not for me personally, I’ll eat my fair share of food, I keep fairly healthy and fit. I don’t think there is a perfect diet or regime, it doesn’t exist. Again, that is my opinion and it will differ to others and I respect that. As I write this blog aged 25, I do wonder about the future, not very much but I do wonder. Will I have children? Couldn’t say. Will I have a good pension? Couldn’t say. Will I have travelled the world by the time I’m 60? Ask me if I get there.

different-age-generations-men-male-person-man-age-kid-to-old-collection-79885802

Life isn’t perfect, nor are people including myself. We all have doubts, we all have flaws. If I reach the age of 80, I will hold my hand up and say I lived my life the best way I could, of course with regrets but who doesn’t have regrets? In 60 years time I could have the same life I had at my current age. Of course then I will be a bit disappointed but maybe that’s how my life is supposed to plan out. Life doesn’t always work out the way you want or expect to happen. I have goals and aims, I want to complete the 92 football league grounds, I think I’m about half way now if not a little over. For every football fan, that is an achievement to be proud of. To others it will sound silly, but it’s what I want and I plan to accomplish that. If I complete that, have a working life until I’m 50 or 60, have a kid or two, marry a nice lass then I will be a happy man. Doesn’t sound very ambitious perhaps to some, but again it’s what I would like and I’d be damn happy with that before I die. If it’s my time, it’s my time. I’ve passed so many goals within the last 25 years, I’m surprised to have made it this far in all honesty. I appreciate every moment I get, I may not be productive in a lot of moments that I do get, but I make them count. That’s how I see life in general, and this is my little quote for anyone reading; Appreciate every moment you get, because one day you might not get the chance too.

If you’re reading this blog, tell me what your top 3 goals in life are and what you plan to do to achieve them.

Again, thanks for reading. I would love it if you shared them, I enjoy reading people’s opinions of what I write.

-The year ahead..

It’s that time of year when people start saying the dreaded “New Year, new me” bullshit. F off for once. We all know deep down how next year will pan out, it’ll be a year of bad choices, poor political choices, bad judgements, probably more famous people dying. But hey, it’ll be a new you next year (!) Nah, seriously though, what are we expecting? Good question. I’m not expecting anything out of the ordinary. I believe in making your own luck, nothing happens out of pure coincidence or luck, of course that’s just my opinion. What do I want from 2017? I want the world to be a less violent place, less idiots, of course that’s just my dream world but it’s OK to have dreams, right? Every year is a lesson, the university of life without the tuition fees. As the years pass by, I wonder what I have learned. I have learnt a LOT from 2016 alone, I had to depend on myself again, which is not a problem. I like the feeling of depending on myself, although I’m not the most depending person, I always drop or lose things. We all have flaws though, right? It doesn’t make me a bad person, nor does it make you, the reader of this post, a bad person either.

What other things have opened my eyes this year? Well I travelled a lot more than I ever thought I would, that really did open my eyes and mind. You’ll be surprised at what you learn from being in different countries. Everyone is just so much more relaxed about things, it made me realise that I worry too much about things. Of course the political side of the UK is doing a Titanic right now, but it doesn’t mean we can sit here and do nothing about it. That’s why I took the time out of my life to visit other countries and take in a different culture, a way of life. I’d like to spend more time doing that more, I’d actually like to try it without having a phone on, no internet, no communication. Just to see what people would do or say, not that I care what people think but it would be an interesting experiment. Also it would be good for me, and healthy. Of course I’d probably take my camera, but that’s for memories. I don’t expect anything from anyone, of course if people are nice to me I’ll treat them the same but so many people get on my nerves and I want them to twizzle on a blender. It’s difficult to ignore annoying people, I hate compact, busy places. I went to London recently, and although I didn’t sleep, chose to go there. I did go there for two reasons. The first being that I hadn’t really explored London enough, I always pass through it or in parts but not enough to say “Oh yes I know where that is, been there twice”. So I took myself on a 4am coach to do so, I know what you’re thinking.. What crazy person gets up that early to go to London? This is a true point, but I am crazy so I guess it fits. I don’t like the traditional London tourist attractions, it’s so expensive and un-interesting for me. I hate common things, oh yes let’s go on the London Eye, because no one’s ever done that have they? I like the real beauty spots, London Bridge, Chelsea boatyard, Hyde Park. The real, true, British part of London that people tend to forget. Of course tourists from different countries don’t know about this, but I’m surprised it isn’t advertised. I’d rather have a nice prawn sandwich and a cuppa coffee in Hyde Park thant pay an arm and a leg to look at wax people, or climb the Shard. Not only is it a rip off, but not that good. I paid a combined fee of 12 Euros (about 11 quid nowadays) to visit the TV Tower in Berlin, the capital of Germany, and also the Main Tower in Frankfurt WHICH has an indoor and outdoor viewing spots. Well worth the money, you don’t get ripped off, better views. But of course, London is just about money now. I can’t wait to hear someone say “I’m coming to the UK from Peru to visit York” REAL Britain, Devon, Bristol, Yorkshire, Manchester you name it. There’s so much wasted history in England which no one seems to care about, but Kudos to those who do as well! That’s why Britain was “Great” built on pure heritage. People have almost forgotten it now, which is sad because there is so much beauty and history to see and learn. Of course I’m proud to be “British” but I’d like to proud of visiting other places too.

What advice can I give to people about the year ahead? Follow your instincts. Try not to let people get in the way of things you want. Don’t rely on people too much, you will be disappointed. Go explore more, never been abroad? Try it and you will not regret it. Don’t dwell too much on the past, it’ll only create more stepping stones. People weren’t put on the planet to destroy you, but they also weren’t put on the planet to help you either. You will find great people all across the world, they won’t care about your feelings, they will give you their honest opinion and that’s EXACTLY what you want. No lies or fake opinions. Next year, you and I will discover a sea of opportunities. Take every step gently, don’t rush things and you will find the real truth, you’ll meet awesome people who will make you wonder why you bothered connecting with people back home who you would call your friends. It’s all part of the long journey you will take as a person, mentally and physically.

The question is, are you ready to climb and change your life?

Dating Online.

In a previous post I wrote about my experience with dating sites. Today I’m going to give you the pros and cons of dating online and how to use it safely. As an experienced online dating site user, I know a thing or two about how to go about using it and how to stay safe on it. People have a right to be cautious about dating online, there’s a lot of things people need to be careful about. I’m going to give you a list of things to look out for when looking at dating profiles on sites such as POF.

• Profiles with one picture. Never think that the person is legit.

• Profiles with no pictures and aren’t willing to send you any.

• Profiles with pictures of celebrities (Obvious one)

• Watch out for profiles with pictures of cars in case they turn into a Transformer.

• Spam profiles are getting more clever, don’t click on links or numbers they send.

• People will lie about their age so be careful.

online-dating

Now for the ladies that use dating sites, it is a very dangerous place for females if you aren’t careful. You never know who is behind the profile talking to you, it could be an old man pretending to be a 21 year old, or even a teenager pretending to be an older man. I’ve personally never had that issue being a guy but there have been cases where I’ve found that the girl was a fake profile, even when turning up for the date. Dating sites like POF and Tinder have become more of a social app rather than dating, it’s more like Facebook these days. A lot of younger people are creating profiles, you have to be legally 18 to sign up to dating sites, teenagers younger than 18 will create fake D.O.B.S to use it. If you’re ever wondering if the person looks younger than they say, always ask them. Some are upfront about it, some aren’t. The other thing about dating sites that women need to be careful about is the odd balls and sex pests. Hands up, how many of you ladies have come across a guy with a fetish for feet or anything else? Let me know in the comments. It’s a common thing among men. Each to their own but some can be really creepy about it. Offering large sums of money to do weird things for them, meeting for paid sex etc. Prostitution is illegal in the UK and a lot of prostitutes now use dating sites to do their work as the police have taken a stand by taking them off the streets.

How to prepare for your date with a online dater:

• Make sure you both feel comfortable about meeting, make sure you’ve spoken enough.

• Always meet in an open well-lit area, such as a bar, a pub, coffee house.

• Never swap mobile numbers unless you’re totally sure you want too.

• Always make sure that you’ve added each other on something you can verify the person on, such as Facebook, Snapchat etc. If they aren’t showing their face I personally wouldn’t go through with the date.

• For a first date, if you’re meeting in a bar, don’t drink too much if you’re a lightweight girls. Never make yourself vulnerable!

• If you’re going to the bathroom, don’t leave any personal belongings unless you want someone to steal from you. Not all dates will steal but it has happened to me before so take anything like wallets, phones, money etc with you.

There are pros of dating sites, there are some good genuine people on it. I’ve made some good friends from it, had a couple of dates here and there. If you really want to be successful in finding someone who’s as serious as you are in looking for a relationship, here’s some tips that have helped me get messages and interest from women.

• Choosing your pictures, make sure your photos are of you smiling, having fun, well-lit and not naked, or showing your bits and bobs (that goes for both genders).

• Username, now I bet you’re wondering why that’s important? Women don’t want to talk to a man who’s username is “Footfetishboi1” or “bigd***lad29”.

• Make your profile information interesting and lengthy. No one wants to message you if you have “Just ask” or “Likes Nando’s, chilling, Snapchat, Sex”.

Describe yourself first.

Talk about what you want from the dating site secondly.

Talk about your hobbies and interests.

Finish off with something that would make you stand out so someone would want to message you.

Leave a social media link like an Instagram, Facebook to show that you’re real.

• Don’t put anything to do with sex, no one wants someone who sells them-self like a common street walker. Not attractive.

• Don’t put any phone numbers on your info, you will come off as someone who’s only looking for one thing, or to just talk to 100’s of people at the same time. You don’t want to come off as a player to someone.

I hope this helps someone in the future on dating sites, thanks for reading!

Why blog?

There are many things people enjoy as a hobby that help them pass time, relax and mentally cleanse their mind. I have a few things like that, one is music, whether it’s listening to it or making it. It’s really soothing and I can relate to a lot of lyrics in songs as well, which I’m sure people can agree. So why blog? Blogging is a great way to release thoughts you have, you can unwind and express yourself. I’ve met some great people via the internet, via blogging too among other social apps like Twitter, Facebook. Instagram and so on. You can use blogging to talk about anything you like, maybe you have a few books you want to give a short review on, or a film perhaps. It’s a great way to tell other people that may want to watch the films you have watched, or a book that you’ve read. I read a lot of books, although I haven’t done any reviews on them yet, it may be something I plan on doing in the future.

Famous bloggers, there are a few who have made blogging into their career and now are globally recognized for it. One example, Zoella, a beauty and style blogger from London who made it to fame via Vlogging (YouTube blogging) providing women with make up, hair and style tips. Now owns a whole range of products in shops across the world, just in the space of a couple of years. Obviously I won’t be providing anyone with beauty, hair or style tips but you get the point. It’s easy to become famous these days, not a bad thing, but it is easy. It depends what you want to sell to your subscribers, for women obviously hair and beauty is a common thing to blog about. There is such a range of things people can blog about, in general, I like to post about basic life in general but in the future I want to travel blog once I’ve come up with a strategy. I also want to buy one of those fancy cameras and photograph the world for a living. Giving reviews of places I’ve been, where the best places to eat in that city or town, how to get around via transport etc, you get the point!

A lot of people use blogging because not everyone has someone to talk too, and find blogging to the world via the internet gives them slight satisfaction. Which is cool, I feel like that sometimes too so I feel those that do also. It’s a fun way to be creative and give people advice as well. People find it easier to type rather than write, my hand writing looks like a 5 year old drawing on the walls with crayons. Best to avoid that! There are tons of blogging sites that are free where you can create almost a website for your blogs, you can customize the look of the page, add pictures, videos, links to your social media account so people can read your stuff. Give it a try today!
